    Program Structure

We build learning intentionally, from the daily routine to the monthly theme, so each experience builds upon the last.

Weekly objectives target specific skills in language, culture, and life skills.

These weekly goals roll up into monthly themes, connecting everything children learn through stories, hands-on activities, and reflection.

Each month ends with a special event: in-house field trip, or guest speaker bringing the month’s theme to life through real experiences.

    Monthly Cultural Focus

Every month, our students focus on a specific country that speaks the language they are learning (for instance, focusing on Moroccan culture, food, music, and geography for Arabic-learning students)

A Glimpse Into Our Daily Rhythm

Our afternoons follow a predictable but dynamic structure that combine movement, learning, and creativity. We also offer yummy, balanced snacks that meet USDA guidelines.

    Our fun schedule includes:

    • Transition/homework time
    • Mindfulness activities
    • Physical movement
    • Small group activities
    • Larger group discussions
    • Arts & crafts
    • Music
    • Outdoor play

    Learning That Lasts

Unlike traditional after-school programs, L-Lab integrates language learning, cultural awareness, and personal growth into every part of the day. Children aren’t just memorizing words- they’re living the language through movement, stories, art, and play.

We track progress through student portfolios, allowing families to see exactly what their child is learning, celebrating each milestone together.

By combining structure with creativity, and immersion with comfort, L-Lab helps children:

    • Learn languages naturally and confidently
    • Strengthen social-emotional and problem-solving skills
    • Build curiosity, empathy, and self-awareness
    • Develop habits for lifelong learning
